Location  Easy to find from major highway corridors. Just 2 miles from Hwy 64 in the town of Franklinville, NC. This property has regional appeal and access being only ½ hour from Greensboro, 15 minutes to Asheboro and Siler City and 1 hr 15 minutes from RTP (Research Triangle Park), Raleigh, Durham and Charlotte. Centrally located between the mountains and ocean; half way on eastern seaboard between New York and Florida.

Landscape  Beautiful natural scenery, high bluffs for future homes and small businesses and gentle slopes with trails down to the Deep River and Sandy Creek. Trails   The initial section of the Deep River Rail Trail/Greenway, a portion of the original 18.5 mile Ramseur brank of the Atlantic and Yadkin Railroad is now in at Living Well Community.  Work is underway to extend the Deep River Rail Trail into Ramseur and through Franklinville.  In addition, we have built several walking/hiking  trails on the property that go through the woods and down to both the creek and river. 

In conjunction with National Trails Day Saturday, June 7th, 2008, there was a gathering at our own Living Well Community to celebrate the opening of a section of Greenway that runs through the property. Infrastructure  Half mile paved road with utilities - underground power, telephone, cable, municipal water and sewer.

Conference & Retreat Center  Located on the 50' high bluff overlooking Sandy Creek and the Deep River features the lovely Historic McIver-Faulk House, built in the 1850's and relocated to this site in 2004. Directions to Living Well Community on Rising Sun Way in Franklinville, North Carolina:


From the Triangle and points East:  Take 64 west to Ramseur.  On the western side of
Ramseur turn North (right) on Highway 22.  Go 1.3 miles.  Pass the
"Frankinville City Limit" sign on right.  Turn left on Rising Sun Way.
 Go 1/2 mile to the end of the road and park.

From the Triad and points West:  Take 220 south to Ashboro.   Get on highway 64
heading east to Ramseur.  Go all the way to Ramseur not turning
earlier at signs pointing to Franklinville.   Cross the Deep River and
enter Ramseur.  Turn left on Highway 22 North (Triangle Convenience Store and Gas Station on right).  Go 1.3 miles.  Pass the "Franklinville City Limit" sign on right.  Turn left on Rising Sun
Way.  Go 1/2 mile to the end of the road and park.
